Management Team Involved in a Buyout of APG Cash Drawer

Minneapolis, Minnesota. October 9, 2008- The management team of APG Cash Drawer, in conjunction with a local investor, has purchased the assets of APG from the original owner UMI Company, Inc. UMI has held APG in its portfolio since its inception, more than 30 years ago. The management team believes this ownership change will facilitate growth, expansion, and will further enhance APG's position as the Recognized Leader in the cash drawer industry.

APG Cash Drawer thanks the industry as it celebrates 30 years

APG Cash Drawer extends thanks to the Point of Sale industry as it celebrates its 30 year anniversary this month at its Minneapolis, MN facility. APG was officially incorporated on May 31, 1978 as a division of UMI Company, Inc, with just 7 employees. Today, thanks to the support of its customers and the POS Industry, APG has more than 100 employees at its Minneapolis facility and ships more than 1000 SKUs of standard and custom product world-wide.

VSR Recognizes APG Cash Drawer Again As Number One On Their Annual Leaderboard

Minneapolis, Minnesota- August 1, 2007- For the second year in a row, APG Cash Drawer has received the top cumulative score for cash drawers according to VSR's POS Hardware Leaderboard 2007 survey. Approximately 240 value-added resellers, system integrators and solution providers participated- the most in any category- evaluated 13 brands of cash drawers.
